Islamic School Curriculum Innovation

The Islamic School Curriculum is the central position in the scientific world. According to the fact, every Islamic Boarding Schoolhas differences applying curriculum, including the model development. The Islamic Boarding School Darus Sholah is the object of this research tried to combine the curriculum of islamic boarding schools with formal education. It expected to make a new competitor in the excellent schools with a boarding school system that offering us an the international curriculum biside the emphasising on religious studies.
The focus of this reasearch is divided into the three, namely: 1) what the aim of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School Curriculum? 2) how the development of curriculum materials of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School? 3) how the curriculum development evaluation of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School? In line of it, this research has many purposes, namely: 1) to describe the aim of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School Curriculum, 2) to describe the development of curriculum materials of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School, and 3) to describe the curriculum development evaluation of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School?
This research used a qualitative approach with a Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School Jember as the object of it. The Informants are master of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School, teachers, and students. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. While the data analysis performed systematically starting from the data reduction, data verification and take a conclusions. The validity of it uses triangulation of data sources.
The result of this reasearch are the first, the curriculum of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding Schoolis to make a professional and intellect Muslims in coloring of their life. How ever they stand to dedicated the Islamic values; Second, most of the curriculum development materials of Darus Sholah inserted into the formal education and some others still in Islamic Boarding School, Islamic School (Diniyah) night. Third, the curriculum evaluation of Darus Sholah Islamic Boarding School at least emphasized on three aspects: 1) evaluation of curriculum content, or Islamic boarding school, 2) evaluation of values program, and 3) evaluation of the results achieved. Beside, the curriculum evaluation model of Islamic Boarding Shcool consists in to the two models are the assessment process through out the implementation of the curriculum and post-completion evaluation of the learning program.
